It's old-school but not outmoded, with an exacting code of beliefs that owner/chef Jean-Michel Peuvrelle has carried with him throughout his life. Born in Pas-de-Calais in the northern tip of France, Peuvrelle is the son of a charcutier (butcher). He apprenticed in Strasbourg while earning a degree in accounting.

The meal was outstanding. The escargot and mussels were delicately seasoned and the mussel broth was delicious. The pepper steaks were the hit of the meal, cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing, The fish special was also a favorite. It really reminded us of some of our favorite places in Paris and Bordeaux.
The food was standout fine. The mussels were perfectly prepared, not overly garlicky, soft, just perfect. Canard (crispy skin) falling from the bone. Sweet breads ( call ahead if you want these) subtly flavored and just right. Highly recommended.
Coq Au Vin and Halibut special shown in photo - real French bistro food from a real French Chef - always good - solid portions and friendly service fantastic in restaurant or carry-out - can't think of a better locally owned business to support!
Got takeout for my birthday and everything was excellent. We had the vichyssoise, salad niçoise, coq a vin, and filet. Superb. Will be getting takeout again for sure, and hopefully eating there in person sometime in 2021! Très bien!
Small french restaurant we used to love for a quiet dinner pre-pandemic. We did takeout under COVID circumstances, and it went quite well. Very small menu but everything we had was great - pate maison with fresh bread, salad, lamb, salmon.
